Dad's 70th party

On friday we had a big party for my dad's 70th birthday, it was a huge success. We invited the fam and a bunch of dad's friends and former coworkers. Mom and dad met a the Safeway in Ogden and alot of the friendships they had from working there have continued throughout all these years. Many of their travels have been with friends they met through Safeway. We had alot of family who came to wish the "Old Fart" a happy birthday also. It's great to have an excuse to see everyone and their kids, I can't believe how quickly everyone's families have changed. We even saw my best friend from my childhood, Tami, and her darling kids. Tami was like a third daughter for my parents, she was a big part of my childhood and we've lost touch throughout the years so it was so fun to see her and re-connect.
